• Bidirectional Counter using Arduino

Concept: The project aims to create a bidirectional counter that uses an Arduino board to count the number of objects passing through an IR sensor in both directions. The count is displayed on a 16X2 LCD display.

Working Method:

1.            The IR sensor and 16X2 LCD display are connected to the Arduino board.

2.            The Arduino board is programmed to read the signal from the IR sensor and determine the direction of the object passing through it.

3.            The Arduino board increments or decrements the count value based on the direction of the object passing through the IR sensor.

4.            The count value is displayed on the 16X2 LCD display in real-time.

5.            The project can include buttons or switches to reset the count value, change the display mode, or adjust other settings.

6.            The project can also include features such as sound or LED indicators to provide feedback when an object is detected or the count value changes.

7.            The system can be powered using a USB cable or a battery, depending on the requirements.
